Langston Black would like to thank everyone who contributed money and items to our disaster relief effort for Whiteville, NC. Whiteville is a city of roughly five thousand people fifty miles inland from Wilmington. During Florence more than thirteen inches of rain fell during a twenty-four hour period resulting in considerable flooding. Whiteville has a special connection to Langston Black since that is the town where Chuck grew up and in and which his mother still resides. On Thursday Chuck was able to drive a U-Haul truck filled with donated items to Whiteville that will be distributed to those in need.
