Extensive perimeter landscaping combined with cross-buck style white fencing will be developed all along both streets frontage. The theme will carry through into the interior of the site where Graham Kimak Landscape design has laid out a series of 3 community “Pocket Parks” that will run from the northern area of\u00a0 the Townhome section to the southerly most corner of the Single Family lot area all of which will be connected by an internal walking path.. In the 3 pocket parks will be an enclosed dog park play area as well as large areas of open space where families can fly a kite, throw a Frisbee or just walk together and enjoy the landscaping and our beautiful Upstate weather. The center park will contain a new large spring fed pond and it has been designed to be a very special central amenity.\u00a0 Many homes will back up onto this water feature.\u00a0 This park area will be named “Nelson’s Pond” in honor of Nelson Greene, the patriarch of the Greene family that owned and farmed the land for many decades.\u00a0 Construction has begun on the site development and the first homes are expected to be under construction by year’s end.
